"La película" de Digimon que se vio en todo el mundo en realidad está formada por 3 películas inconexas, ésta es secuela de la del medio, en la que el villano es Diaboromon. Diaboromon reaparece en internet formado de los vestigios de su ataque anterior. Entonces planea atraer hacia su morada a Omegamon, llamando la atención de sus dueños, Tai y Mat, al dispersar una invasión de kuramon (El estado inicial de Diaboromon) que hacen circular datos privados de ellos. Diaboromon planea dejar encerrados en internet a Omegamon y los demás, para dar un gran golpe en el mundo real, a través de los kuramon.
